You cannot please both God and the world at the same time,

They are utterly opposed to each other in their thoughts, their desires, and their actions.

~ St. John Vianney ~

In these uncertain times that the world is in, Faith is needed to help guide one along their path in life. Yet, faith is being stretched thin by forces outside of ourselves and within ourselves as well. These forces have caused many to walk away or dare I say "RUN AWAY" from their faith and with that their relationship with the Most Holy Trinity (God, Jesus, Holy Spirit). These uncertain times also cause people not to explore a Faith as well.

Before going any further, I must admit that these times have caused my own faith to be stretched thin as well and I am not starting this blog as a reaction to others alone, but from personal experiences as well. Both forces from outside and within myself have caused this to happen. While my beliefs have stayed in tack for the most part, it is how those beliefs take shape in these times. My Catholic beliefs and doctrines stand without much doubt.

The purpose of this blog is to:

  1. To explore faith in relation to the world and within ourselves as well.

  2. To challenge and push forward in the world with faith as the guide to get one through these uncertain times.

  3. To face the reality of a faith that is being stretched thin and how to repair it.

I hope you join me on this journey of both world and self discovery in regards to Faith.
